Key Dates

Online Registration & Payment Opens: September 22

Enroll for clubs through EAI’s online system. When you register you will be able to see how many seats are still available for each club and students will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. After you successfully register your student, you will receive a receipt of registration email; please note that because clubs must meet minimum enrollments to run, this is a receipt of payment only.

Confirmation of Enrollment: October 4

EAI will send emails to families for each club that their student is enrolled in. These emails serve as a confirmation that the club will run and contain reminders about procedures, policies, and dates.

First Week of Clubs:  October 10

Clubs begin this week. Please refer to your confirmation email/club descriptions for exact dates. Sports Clubs and Special Needs Soccer will begin the week of October 18 due to MCPS scheduled gym maintenance. 

How Do We Register for a Club?

Registration steps are as follows:

  1. Go to
  2. If you already have an account, then sign in. The Sign In button is located at the upper right corner of the screen
  3. To create an account, click on the Create Account menu item, enter the required fields and click the Create Account button. Once your parent account has been created (or you’ve signed in), the Create Account menu item changes to My Account.
  4. To add students to the system, click on the My Student menu item, enter their information and click the Add Student button. Accurate grade and homeroom information for each child is crucial for roster information. Repeat this step for each student in your family.
  5. On the Home Page, you can view clubs by day of the week or alphabetically. Click on the club links for detailed descriptions, weeks offered, pricing, available seats, and end times. Click on the desired club, select the desired student from the drop down box, and click Enroll. An annual $25 fee is required per student and will appear in your cart if this is the first time you are registering that student.
  6. Click on the EAI Consent Link to read the Parent Consent, Waiver, and Agreement document and then click the Parent Consent checkbox. This agreement must be checked for each student enrolled in a club. If you are not requesting a scholarship, go to Step #7. If you would like to request a scholarship, go to Step #9. If you would like to add your student’s name to a wait-list, go to Step #10. 
  7. To enroll in additional clubs, click on Continue Shopping and repeat Steps 5 and 6 as appropriate. 
  8. To make payment via credit card and complete your order, click the Checkout Now button, enter your credit card information, click on the Continue to Checkout button and then click on Place your Order button. 
  9. Scholarship Requests: Within the My Cart tab, a scholarship can be requested by checking the Request Scholarship box. Your total will be zero. Click on the Checkout Now button. On the next screen, click on the Place Order button. IMPORTANT—All steps must be completed for your request to be processed. All requests will be reviewed by the school for eligibility and EAI will work with your family to find placement for your student—preferably in the club you requested as a scholarship. Space is limited and dependent on reaching minimum enrollments. Families will be accommodated in the order their requests were received. If you would like to register/pay for clubs other than the one your are requesting as a scholarship, you must do so in a separate transaction (see Step 5).
  10. Wait List Clubs: There is no charge to add your students’ name to the Wait List. The Checkout Now button will be grayed out until the EAI Consent box is check. After the consent box is checked, hit the Checkout Now button. Review your selection on the next screen and click the Continue Checkout button. The the next screen, click on the Place Order button. IMPORTANT—All steps above must be completed for your request to be processed! After completing checkout, you will receive a receipt for the waitlisted club. After completion of Early Bird Registration, we will contact you should a space open up for your student. You will need to register your child (Step 5) to enroll your student.

If you do not have access to the internet or a credit card for registration, please place a note in an envelope and give it to the school front office indicating: the child’s name, clubs of interest, and a check made out to Enrichment Academies for the total club cost plus the $25 one time registration fee. You will then be contacted by EAI to confirm registration/availability. All registrations will be processed on a first come, first served basis, so please submit your note during the early bird registration window if at all possible. 

Open Enrollment and Early Bird Registration

EAI offers open enrollment with a specific registration start date. Club fees for the first four days of registration will be offered at a discounted, “early bird” rate. After the first four day window, club pricing will increase by $10 per club. We urge all parents to take advantage of the discounted pricing so that minimum enrollment numbers are met and we can determine quickly which clubs will be able to run. 

Club Cancellations and Make Up Sessions

If school is cancelled or meets for a half day because of weather, no afternoon clubs will be held. If there is a two hour delayed opening, no morning clubs will be held. Every effort will be made to make up the session based on available dates and instructors. The club instructor and/or EAI will notify you of any other cancellations. 

How Many Clubs Can My Child Sign Up For?

Each child may sign up for as many clubs as they like. Students are registered for clubs on a first come, first serve basis. If your child’s first choir isn’t available this session, EAI will try to offer the club in a future session. Feel free to email EAI with requests for clubs you would like to see at Bethesda Elementary.


In many situations, class enrollments determines our ability to offer a club and pay our instructors. Because of this, there are no refunds issued after confirmation emails have been sent (after registration ends). If EAI cancels a club due to insufficient enrollment during the registration period, you will receive a full refund.


Families receiving lunch assistance during the school year may take one club per session without charge. Additionally, if you do not qualify for lunch assistance, but your financial situation prevents your child from registering, you may also be eligible for a scholarship. Please submit a scholarship request for one club per student and the school will review your eligibility. Once the school confirms eligibility, EAI will work with your family to find a placement for your child—preferably in the club requested. Please note that scholarship space is limited and dependent on clubs reaching enrollment minimums.

What Happens Between School Dismissal and Club Start?

When the final bell rings at 3:30, students enrolled in after school clubs will proceed to the Media Center (library) where they will be supervised by an Enrichment Academies Club Administrator. The Club Administrator will check students in and then make sure they get to their club classroom safely. Students who attend Wonders should go to Wonders at the final bell and then to the Media Center at 3:40. 

How Will My Child Get Home From the Club?

Children must be picked up by an authorized adult or go to Wonders After Care. All clubs will be dismissed through the front entrance of the school. IMPORTANT—You are responsible for your child after 4:45pm. No child may wait unattended on the school premises; the office staff cannot supervise your child.

Accommodations and Health Concerns

Families are responsible for making their own arrangements for finding additional support for their children for after school programming. If your child receives accommodations during the school day through MCPS, please carefully consider the demands of the after school club to determine whether he/she will require assistance to participate in the club. Families are encouraged to contact EAI or the club vendor with questions about what to expect each week and/or provide EAI with pertinent information regarding any special needs, health concerns, and allergies. 

Behavior Policy

Students are expected to:

  • Follow cooperatively and politely all directions given by the instructor
  • Treat others with respect
  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to him/herself
  • Be where he/she belongs at all times
  • Take responsibility for his/her behavior
  • Respect the physical classroom space; children may not play with items found in the classroom that are not part of the club provided materials

If a child is not willing or able to follow these expectations, the following consequences will result:
1st time: Warning to student and parent
2nd time: Child will be asked to leave the club (there will be no refund).
